At least someone wants Perk nowadays. He's almost out of the league at this point.

The could probably get him for next to nothing. Probably just filler contracts. if they think he could provide...errr...a scowling presence why not?

For awhile now it has sounded like Miami really wants to go big again now that Chris Bosh has become a capable three point shooter. Want that extra big body to shore up their interior defense and rebounding. Want to move away from those small-ball lineups but keep that extra three point shooter at the PF position (where Bosh's development comes in).

This Perk rumour is further confirmation of that.

Don't do it, Perk!
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Still it feels weird that the team that ran Perkins off the floor when they played OKC in the finals would acquire him.

better than anything they have at C.

anyway I think Perk has too much character to go play for the heat.

I would love to see Perkins on Miami, if only because Perk tends to attract the support of the kind of posters who would take it badly.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I'm not sure if Oden isn't better. :-\
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

They best keep their dirty hands off Perk.
