  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Payton. Get him at 6, then trade Rondo and Wallace to SAC for 8th pick, McLemore, and the shortest junk contracts they have (Williams, Terry, etc etc) and take Randle. ]

All day.

Wholeheartedly agree, TP.

I don't want Rondo traded, but if he does get traded, we oughta grab this kid. He's going to be good, heck, maybe special.

I remain intrigued by Bogdan Bogdanovic and would be excited if Ainge thought he was worthy of acquiring a second or late first to snag him.

Absolutely Stauskas.  I don't expect the Celtics to take him, as he'd be an overdraft at 6, but I've been making the Ray Allen comparison all year.  He's a great shooter, a great creator, and has all the confidence in the world.  Love the kid.  If I thought he'd play even passable defense in the NBA, I'd be fine with him at 6.

Mine is definitely Jabari, been following him since right before his season at Duke hoping we get him. Obviously its almost impossible we will now, but he will always be a player I root for. I love his overall game and believe he can succeed and become a great player.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Cleanthony Early, if the C's somehow were to grab an early 2nd round pick and he were available.

Much like Hodor from Game of Thrones who only says one word - "Hodor" - I picture Bogdan Bogdanovic just running around the court saying "Bogdan" for the entire game.

I was on Embiid bandwagon early. Otherwise Vonleh, then Smart at 6.  At 17, I have a sweet spot for a scorer/baller like Warren unless there's a shooting slider like McBuckets or Staukas. No talent without scoring production with the later pick please.

Another option is to get a late first round or an early second round pick for Bass. Then we can get a combo guard(like Bogdanovic and Markel Brown).

If now we are allowed to make trade with Clippers I'm sure Doc would want Bass. They are in "Win-Now" mode right now and it is difficult to draft a player who can be efficient immediately with 28th pick. If we can make a trade like this;

in the order I expect them to be drafted:

Smart
Stauskas
Payton
Hood
Payne

And in the second round I'd like

Damien Inglis
DeAndre Daniels
Semaj Christon

will bet a dollar that San Antonio takes Inglis

If we keep 6 I want Smart unless Embiid somehow drops and his foot isn't viewed as a chronic career injury (if he drops to 6 however it probably is).. so out of the guys in the 6 range Smarts my favorite by far.

At 17 I like the idea of Warren or LaVine.

Don't have any... but I'm intrigued by a 3-man rotation of Rondo-Bradley-Smart. I kinda also think that a pairing of Green and Gordon could be good, lots of atheism and defense.

Will need to look for other atheists to round out the roster.

If we hang on to our draft pick, I'd like us to use it on Marcus Smart.

Good job, self.
