48 Hours till the NBA Draft and Danny Ainge is playing a very good game of poker. He is all over the place. Talking about trading up to Number one to get Wiggins or Parker. I talked about this move last night. Also reports of Rondo being moved for a full rebuild. Talk of Green being traded talks of them drafting a big man with a bad back and foot.Than the 9000 million dollar question of Love will be traded to us. This is what he wants people to think. He is a master at it and I am loving it.Danny will do what is best for business. If that means Rondo time is up than it time to move on. If he tells Danny to trade him than you get what you can for him. Time to spin the wheel and make a deal. I cant wait to watch.

Unfortunately, I think half the GMs in the league right now are playing Go Fish.

If he moves Rondo, prepare for some of the Celtics fans' vehement responses that will chant "Fire Danny!!"

If he trades Rondo to the Lakers, I expect to see a lot of rage on this blog. :)

Honestly if we don't get KLove I will be a little upset...

But if we don't get Love, I want Danny to totally blow it up, its the right thing to do. Get a lotto pick for Rondo, trade Green/Bass for more assets too

I really would love to see Danny wheel and deal for Love then get Parsons and Asik in another deal (Houston wants a run at LBJ, help them with cap space) that would be a very nice team. Rondo-Bradley-Parsons-Love-Asik .... Green as the 6th man where he should be

I think you being upset will be short lived. Sometimes you don't land the KG or Love type trade. Nature of the biz. But we have the best gm in the business who has a treasure chest of assets. If it isn't Love, it will be something or someone else. Ainge always goes for the home run over the single all day.

Why?

Rondo can't shoot, he can't defend, and he is overpaid.

Rondo also dropped 45/15/5 on Miami in 2012 and was leading the team on that run...

4x All Star
2x First team D
2x Second team D

And Gordon Hayward is better how?

Stop trolling Rondo and be realistic for a second. If Rondo was on a max contract, you would have a point, but he's not close to that. so. no.

Rondo was the 14th ranked point guard in 2013 before the knee injury, and the 29th ranked point guard in 2014.

Gordon Hayward was the 11th ranked shooting guard, and he is younger.

Numbers don't lie.

Yeah sure buddy... If you seriously think Rondo is the 29th ranked PG in the league, then you must be high off of some good ish.

seriously rondo can't shoot? it's either you're trolling or just re-using the typical criticism you can found in the internet regarding Rondo

People are nuts to say that "Numbers say he is the 29th ranked PG" You have to be outside of your mind. Rondo was one of the best before his injury. He is a TRUE point guard. Someone who players WANT to play with because he gets them the ball in their spots. If we trade Rondo I will be very upset. He when healthy is a top 4 PG in the league and numbers don't tell me that. Knowing basketball tells me that.

Danny probably will not know what he's going to do until the draft actually starts.  There are dominos that need to fall.  I think he's prepared to go in a lot of directions, but it will depend on what's possible.
