Apparently, Julius Randle skipped his second workout with the celtics today for an interview with GQ magazine.

My thoughts:

I can't see Randle going before the celtics pick unless a team really liked him and that is not what we have heard. Also, I have seen many of you guys speculate that if we traded with the kings, we would take randle with that 8th pick. As an agent, you want your client to go as high as possible, so I'm thinking this Sac deal is closer than we think and his agent is trying to ward the celts into taking him with that 6th rather than 8th.

Don't think his agent has any insight on the Celtics possible deal with the Kings. I can't think of an explanation for this other then the Celtics told him they will not be taking him or that they will be taking him and there's no need for a second workout or maybe he just doesn't wanna go to the Celtics... IDK.

I believe the Lakers like Randle and Smart, but it all depends on the teams in front of us, obviously, in terms of who will be available at 6 and 7.  4 days ago, Sherrod had Randle going at 5 to Utah.  http://www.csnne.com/boston-celtics/blakelys-nba-mock-draft-100-cs-take-chance-embiid
