#1 Trade  Green, 6, 17 and Sullinger for Cav's #1 (Draft Wiggins)
#2 Trade Rondo and Wallace for King's #8, MClemore, and Thomas
#3 Draft Randle/Vonleh/Gordon, or Smart with #8
#4 Trade exception for Asik
#5 Sign Greg Monroe or Sign and Trade
#6 Resign AB

2014
PG: Isaiah Thomas, Pressey
SG: Bradely, Mclemore
SF: Wiggins
PF: Greg Monroe
C: Asik

Plus the #8 Pick.  Gordon or Smart would be best with this group

Also room to sign another  free agent after we ship out Rondo, Green and WAllace's contracts.

Team would be weak next year but could be a good base for 2015!!

i know dan gilbert wants to become a playoff team next year, it would be interesting what would make them bite the bullet. trading for #3  or #4 is more likely

DA wants to win now.. he wouldnt mortgage all those picks plus Rondo to keep rebuilding... would actually take a step back rebuilding... Wiggins can play right away and will be a star, mark my words.. but dont just count on a move DA has proved he can pull the trigger on a few more players too

On its face I don't love 6, 17 and Green for #1 (Wiggins)
HOWEVER...theoretically it starts the salary dump ball rolling:

1) Dump Wallace with a future 1st, renounce Humphries, dump Anthony
2) Sign LeBron
3) S&T Bradley, Bass and multiple picks for Melo
4) Asik for our trade exception +/- pick(s)
5) Buy a 2nd rounder for depth

Rondo / Pressey
Wiggins
LeBron
Melo / Sully
Asik / Olynyk

bench: Faverani, Johnson, 2nd rounder, MLE, vet minimum

Mildly insane, yes, but unloading $9M in salary *and* picking up Wiggins put you in an interesting spot for sure, especially if you get to keep Sully and Olynyk on rookie contracts.

Trust me, Lebron isn't coming to Boston...he'll stay in Miami.  From what I have heard all three of Miami's big three have been on record saying they'd like to come stay in Miami, and some of them have reportedly also made comments saying they would re-sign for less if it helps Miami's cap flexibility.  I would say with about 90% certainty that Miami is opting out so he can re-sign for a reduced price.  I'd be very shocked if he leaves a Miami team that just won two titles in three years.

Also I'm pretty sure the Knicks aren't giving up Melo for Bradley, Bass and some picks.  I imagine if Boston wanted a hope of getting Melo, we'd need to take a bad contract along with him - either Bargnani, Stoudemire or Chandler.
