Of the offers they've received, a source says the Cavs aren't enamored by either the Sixers' offer (Thaddeus Young and the No. 3 pick) nor the Jazz's offer (Derrick Favors and the No. 5 pick). However, the Cavs do have some interest in the Magic's offer of Arron Afflalo, the No. 4 pick and the No. 12 pick.

I'm sure Embiid would go 4th in this scenario. A lot less risk, with Afflalo providing immediate helo and #12 to mitigate Embiid's health.  I would take that if I were Cleveland.

Yeah. That's an extremely tempting offer.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Yeah. I imagine Embiid would go #4 and they would still get a very good player at 12.

So who does ORL have their eyes on?  Wiggins or Parker?

Seems like a bit of win-win for both teams.

When was the last time the #1 pick was traded at the draft.  Was it 1993?  I can't think of it happening since then.

Wiggins and Oladipo would be such a nice combination on the wings.

I agree, I think Orlando's offer is the best offer Cleveland could get for the #1 pick.

I also think it is worth doing for Orlando. I wouldn't do it if I were Cleveland though. Afflalo doesn't have much value for a team so far from rebuilding. I also think there is a big drop-off around 8th or 9th pick so that #12 pick doesn't excite me much. Not enough added value. I'd rather stick with the #1 and get my first choice guy than move down to #4.

Both the rumored orlando offer and the rumored utah offer are sort of unbelievable.

At this point if those offers are real then Cleveland would be foolish to make their pick IMO.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Cleveland's management is out thinking themselves again.  Embiid may never be healthy and the player they get at 12 may never be better than average.  Just take Wiggins or Parker or trade the pick for a proven star like Love.  It shouldn't be so complicated.  They're probably going through the same thought process that netted them a chubby tweener with sleep apnea and asthma with the first pick last year.

Especially with their drafting track record...

Well, that would be a great haul for Cleveland, or, you know, they could just KEEP THE PICK!  What in the world are they doing?  It's not that hard, just take the bpa (Parker) and move on.

Oh well, if they screw up again with this draft and Lebrick doesn't come back, I'm sure that the league will just give them the 1st pick next year, or at least one in the top 3 ::)
