I was having a discussion with my friends about this and we couldn't come up with a definitive list. I need your help.

I'm looking for guys that are known as shooting guards. There are guys like Pierce and Havlicek who played both SF and SG but they were mostly known as SF's.

If there are more than just 1 "other" on your list state it as well and I'll add it in.

Thank you.  :)

I'll throw in Iceman though. Do you think he's Top 5?

No Oscar Robertson?

He is listed as a PG, but I think a case could be made for him being on this list...maybe I'm wrong

I had the same thought but he's mainly listed as a PG, and I never saw him play to say otherwise.

Jerry was a point guard who liked shooting.

before gail goodrich joined the lakers i think west was the shooting guard, or at the least they had 2 combo guards and jerry shot A LOT

Jordan
Kobe
West
Wade
Drexler

However, I would also include Iverson and Pearl Monroe as part of the selection options. And if only Toney's career wasn't short-lived.

Oscar and Jerry West are point guards. I mean no offense when I say there is no case for either of them to be on the list. The fact that their position is a discussion is why they aren't. Same with Allen Iverson.

Ray Allen with ONE (me)...

LOL.

C'mon I know the way he left BOS was not desirable, but seriously..

I think West and Iverson both qualify. I don't think that the Big O does. Unless you think the '01 Sixers started two point guards? Either way, for the sake of this discussion it seems kind of stupid to be a stickler about it.

list: which isn't in any particular order (aside from Jordan at #1) and isn't voted (owing to missing options).

Jordan
Kobe
Wade
West
Iverson

Even if he was still a Celtic, I wouldn't vote him Top 5 of all-time.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington

Wouldn't put him on my top 5 but T-Mac was an elite SG for most of his career.

Think I'd go something like this:

Jordan
Kobe
Wade
Jones
Allen
