Keep the picks and trade Rondo for Gordon Hayward.

Trade Rondo for Hayward?  I can't even right now.

Yes. Trade Rondo for Hayward.
Draft a big at #6 and a PG at #17.

No way the Jazz agree to that. If we include our 6th pick and Rondo we could MAYBE get Steve Nash.

Obviously you're just kidding, but if the Jazz didn't agree to that (and the Wolves took the Bulls offer over ours), then we'd need to fire Danny Ainge and change the name of our franchise because it would mean that other teams just don't like us personally.

I would never ever trade Rondo for Hayward straight up...maybe maybe maybe if they included the #5 pick.

I've posted this before, but we havent seen anywhere that danny has made a competitive offer yet have we?

I mean basically thursday he gave them a lowball offer of 6, 17 olynyk and next years C's pick...THat is nothing and he knows it. seems like he's been waiting in the weeds while GSW/bulls etc. throw minneosta offers so he can see where the bar is set and them come draft night he'll throw out the best offer.

also, its been incredibly quiet on the celtics front. which to me is when Danny usually pops out of nowhere to do something.

People keep acting like it's a low-ball offer from Ainge, but it blows Chicago's offer out of the water - a similar offer by Danny would be Oly, #17, and a future Cs pick (without the #6). I have yet to see anything close to Danny's offer that is actually an offer (GS never actually offered up Klay and even if they did, I'm still not sure it makes sense for Minny).

exactly why I think ainge is waiting in the weeds to see what every other team offers. All he has to do is give a better offer than everyone else. It has been TOO quiet on the Celtics front lately. We havent heard anything pertaining to them. I wonder if we will start hearing rumors that the C's are right back in this soon.

I dont buy all this stuff from Baxter that the Bulls, Nuggets are leading the love chase when Ainge already has a better offer, and more assets if need be to offer up to minnesota.

Maybe we could follow that up by trading the #6 pick for Spurs 1st rounder.

Hayward was the 11th ranked shooting guard in the league last year.

Rondo was the 29th ranked point guard with a bum knee.

Hayward is younger and he played for Stevens at Butler.

Rondo- All Star.
Hayward- Ok player on a godawful team.

Why does everyone love Hayward? cause of Stevens? He's not impressive to me at all. He's gonna cost money and I think Bradley could be cheaper for equal production.

Hayward avg. 16-5-5 last season. We will have to pay him 8-10 mil. AB could be locked up 4 more seasons for 6-7 a year. Better value. and we get to keep a good PG

You seem really confident about a lot of your umm "opinions".  I am sure there a lot of people who expect Rondo to play well next year.  Maybe you are just trolling all of us?  I am not sure.

Because people on this forum are absolutely, positively obsessed with massively overrated players (Hayward, Asik, etc) yet absolutely hate legit superstars (such as Melo).
