Rondo and Olynk to Denver for Ty Lawson, Faried and #11. Would you do it?

Absolutely. Lawson has 4 years left on his contract at $12m/year, a great value; I'd consider swapping Rondo for him straight up, since Rondo will likely cost us the max next year if he stays at all. Then swapping KO for #11 is GREAT, we can probably pick Jusuf Nurkic, and Faried is worth something too.

We can get Nurkic at #17 so why would we trade a proven player to take someone like that at #11? Doesn't make sense to me  :-\

I think Rondo is better than Lawson, but not a better fit in Stevens' system due to Lawson's greater ability to shoot and play off the ball.

I do like Faried. I like his motor, athleticism, ability to run the floor, toughness, and obviously rebounding. However, I would prefer to package Sullinger instead of Olynyk. Olynyk doesn't have the back issues, has better size (height wise), and has 1 more year on his rookie contract.

At #11, I think we'll have plenty of options. We'll be able to land  Nurkic, McDermott, or Stauskas. So we'll either add shooting or center help, which our two areas of need. Having that 2nd pick could also allow us to draft (at #17) and stash Saric in Europe for a couple of seasons.

not a fan of this deal

Rondo > Lawson
Faried >= KO --> KO is still developing whereas Faried is pretty much what he is.  KO has much better offense and height
#11 -- nice asset but what's the point when we're now led by Lawson and Jeff Green?

What the hell do people see in McLemore? He's not good.
You are right.

If he played well last year, he would not be available along with the #8 pick for Rondo.

He's 6'5", has a 42" vertical, and shot and played very well at Kansas.  There's potential there.  A lot of rookies struggle.  Avery Bradley was horrible as a rookie.

theres a huge drop off after 8, so any pick after that means nothing to me if we trade Rondo

Ty Lawson's ankles are in bad condition right? There was a report that they were worse than what was thought.

A trade of role players. The best player in this deal will be Lawson and the #11 pick. Please then move Farrid and the 17 and move up in the draft. Let Denver waste their money playing a role player max money. Awful deal for Denver.

Mclemore and #8 both have better chances of being stars than Rondo. Rondo proved me right last year. A true star player would have willed his team into that 8th seed. He's not even a top 20 player in the league and is extremely overrated. That 8th pick could look excellent and give us Julius Randle. Imagine the potential of this squad

PG-Smart
SG-McLemore
SF- Green (because he's unreadable)
PF- Randle
C- KO

Other than KO that's an extremely young exciting and athletic team.

Danny needs to trade Rondo. The tank for a top star needs to continue.

The only way I would do this trade is if a third team was involved and we ended up with another high draft pick.

Rondo for Lawson, Faried and #11 by himself is in the ballpark...but to include KO in the deal, I want a much greater return.

Rondo is Boston right now...any trade needs to take that into account.
