Keep the reporter in mind, but wanted to pass this along:

Sources: KLove deal to Warriors is dead. Love "unlikely" now to be dealt before draft.

"Before Draft" doesn't equal Draft night...Still think DA is waiting to drop the Godfather deal on the table Thursday.

If Love was anywhere but Minny he'd already be traded to us. Minny is only doing a deal with us if they fleece us back! And at that point Love isn't worth the draining of our assets. If they get 3 1st from us they MUST take Wallace with it & Maybe Bass too.

I wonder if at what point Love and his agent will get involved and tell the wolves management "stop playing games, my client doesnt want to be here, trade him."

in the league now a days, Players can pretty much force themselves to be traded. But minnesota seems to just be sitting around playing games.

I believe this - I think someone on here early said that Bucher has a lot of ties to GSW? so there is some truth to this I bet...

It may be as dead as the Doc-LAC deal last summer...we won't know until a deal is or isn't made.

I still feel like like Danny is going to try and swoop in last minute with a solid offer. he really hasnt made a serious offer yet. I mean our 6th, 17th, olynyk and next years first isnt much right now.

sullinger still hasnt entered the equation, the brooklyn picks, bradley.

A third team like Milwaukee would make too much sense. Send them draft and rebuild assets for some proven players that can be routed to the wolves.

I actually think Philly could make a good 3rd team - see if you can pry Thad Young to re-route to the Wolves in exchange for Bass & Joel Anthony's expirings, #17, and a future Brooklyn #1. Send Bogans, Olynyk, Thad, #6, and the rights to swap picks with us in 2017 to Minny. We get Love and KMart.

Ainge and the Wolves haven't spoken since Thursday of last week according to a Globe report. He's genius give them a mediocre offer a week in advance, let them know you have interest. Let them and GS duke it out until they shut the door on each other. Then I imagine either Wednesday or Thursday on draft night he gets back on the phone with them and gives a serious offer.
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

Danny got something up his sleeve to put Minny under pressure come draft night.  Also, that Philly in a 3 team trade doesn't sound bad either. As long as we can hold onto Rondo, Green, & sully Im up for anything. I see Bradley packing up already!

Yes Sir! Danny will drop bombs on them come Thursday.

I still think our 6th, 17th, and next year's first rounder is tooooooo much.  The Twolves are trying to play hardball and now it has backfired.  The Warriors are now out of the picture, so who is left to bid against Boston.  We don't need to bid against ourselves.  I say you offer two #1 picks and fillers.  Minny is not going to find anything better.  If they do, congrats.

Minny has screwed themselves.  They have p---ed on all offers and are now stuck trying to trade Love at the trade deadline where they will likely get even less in return.

Too much?

People are nuts. If you can get a 25 year old 24/13 talent for just 3 draft picks you hit that, and quit that as quickly as possible.

I think Danny will over pay but not severly - so that it looks like Minn wins the deal. He may through in an extra 1st rounder just to give Saunders the allusion that he won the deal.
