The #celtics are one of 5 teams that have reached out to FA Kris Humphries, according to NBA source. LAC, DAL, MIN and MIA also interested

That's a good thing. I want Humphries to stay with the C's for a lower price. The hustle he showed and sportsmanship on the floor was a big bright spot in that bad season we had. Humphries, FA, Faverani and Olynyk would be a solid center group for the celtics next season.

Free agent Luol Deng intrigued with Clippers sign-and-trade possibilities, sources tell Yahoo. He's expected to speak with Doc Rivers today.

Wojo

I don't see much that the Clippers can offer in a sign-and-trade.  Rather than take back Dudley and Barnes, the Cavs would be better off letting Dudley walk.

And Deng has been reported to not want to get any sort of paycut, so there has to be more going into it.

The inclusion of Redick?

But what would be the point of it... you're reducing talent (and if you receive a S&T player you can't use MLE and are hard capped).

So don't see the real motivation for the Clippers unless they think Deng would make that much more of a difference.

The small foward position was a glaring weakness in the Clip's lineup last season.  The step up from Dudley/Barnes to Deng is probably greater than the drop of from Redick to whomever they get to replace him.

Mike

It seems as though there are more teams looking for a SF than there are SFs available.  Could play into our hands if Ainge were to move Green.

Oh crap. Ainge has reached out to Humphries!? Ugh! Just let him go!

Sullinger. Olynyk. Bass = No need for Humphries.

Could have just checked in to see if Humps was up for a sign and trade. I would how ever if given the choice of Bass or Humps, I like Humps. Plays better D.

All though if tanking, we should keep Bass. :P

the Heat must be desperate. They lost out on Lowry, likely have no chance at Melo, so they will spend their cap space on Gasol, who imo doesn't help them too much as he's not a defensive big man and has lost a few steps over the years

There's a non-zero chance that one or more of those guys is a non-Celtic ten days from now.

Chris Kaman is going to get $10 mil over two years from the Blazers. Even though only a little more than half of that is guaranteed, I find that unbelievable.

Pau is still a pretty good scorer and rebounder which is why I'd like to see him in OKC. Durant/Ibaka/Pau is a really good frontcourt, lots of versatility.

The Rockets are rumored to have Chris Bosh as their Plan B if Carmelo Anthony turns them down.

What will Bosh do if Houston allows him to avoid taking a big pay cut?  What will Lebron do if Bosh leaves Miami?

you have to wonder what the Heats pitch is to these guys at this point, IF all the stuff in the media is true about Lebron being serious about exploring his options if the Heat dont put a great team around him.

Its gotta be in the back of Paus head that if Lebron leaves, this team is probably gonna be garbage.  Why deal with that risk if you could just sign with OKC or Houston.

I'd love that, then we would have free agency chaos!!
