 Marc Stein tweeted the following:

Indiana Pacers, I'm told, have tried to engage Phoenix in trade talks for Goran Dragic, but teams have found no common deal ground. Yet

Something to keep an eye on, though, with Indy known to covet an upgrade at PG and stubborn perception Suns can't afford Bledsoe AND Dragic

If we are going to trade Rondo I would do it for Hibbert, who I think needs a fresh start. I would probably take on extra salary in that deal as well.

I'm not sure why the Suns couldn't afford Bledsoe and Dragic.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Whispers are already out there, @ZachLowe_NBA, about Indy trying to pull in Boston to construct some sort of multi-team deal involving Rondo

Impressive how Telfair has managed to hang around in the league.

Not all that talented a player so he must be winning his coaches over with his work ethic and a team first attitude. Did well to keep his career going after failing to make it as a star prospect, then failing to even make the grade as a solid starter to even failing as a primary backup PG. Most guys would have just checked out after that. Telfair has somehow managed to keep going and has carved out a nice small career for himself.

Darren Collison has agreed to a 3-year, $16M deal with the Sacramento Kings. (Via LA Times)

Not sure if this is legit or not...

can't imagine Indy exchanging Hibbert for Rondo.  after seeing Hibbert underwhelm at the end of the season and playoffs, I'm not as excited to get him.  used to think he'd make that next step to a top 3-4 center in the league but he seems to have stalled out.

Anyone think Kobe and the Lakers will have a shot at landing Carmelo? Melo should be aware that he will be No.2 next to Kobe as he tries to pursue ring #6.

Part of me wants to see Carmelo in LaLa Land just to watch them implode further, but part of me thinks that's not a good idea if they start gelling lol. Too bad Mike D'Antoni is no longer their head coach...

Nope. It's a courtesy call.

LAL carries a lot of cachet but they are simply too far away from competing for a title. In other words, good enough for sit down but not good enough for Melo's signature.

According to Dan Le Batard, who is pretty plugged in on the Heat:

* Main target this summer has been Ariza

* Never reached out to Lowry

* Made an offer to Lance Stephenson, but were quickly declined

Ariza makes sense as a Battier like replacement. After that the cupboard is gonna get bare for Miami. They would then be best served by bringing back Ray and Chalmers.
