But what if Embiid falls to number six? Would the Celtics risk him?

Would the Celtics risk him?Well, if both Embiid and Vonleh are still on the board at #6 that would be a really difficult choice for me. I honestly think Vonleh could turn out to be as good as, or possibly better, than Embiid. And now with Embiid's medical issues that just makes the choice even more difficult.IDK, flip a coin?

I think he has a nice future...However, if Embiid is still there at 6... I don't think I could pass that up.
No question I'd take Embiid. No question. Even if we had to limit his minutes all season like DWade, he could still be team MVP and team playoff MVP. We don't Need another PF, but we do NEED a rim protecting center. Even for 20 mpg, 50 games a year, Embiid would improve our team more than Vonleh playing full time. Because we would still need a real rim protector, which Vonleh is not. And Embiid has a much higher ceiling offensively as well. Vonleh might jump well with a full wind-up, but he doesn't jump quickly or very high in game situations, and Embiid probably has a 3-5 inch vertical reach advantage in addition to jumping quicker than Vonleh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZOTtf5ldtI
