Just say no!!!

Too old and not going to be effective both ways. Youth movement is the only way to go.

not a fan of Melo, but in his defense, KG, PP, and RA were in their early 30s when they got together, Melo is just 30

Is Hayward as good as Stephenson ?
I would say Stephenson is the better player between the two.

Stephenson is a top defensive SG. Hayward a solid but unexceptional defender. Hayward is better shooter from distance. Both are strong secondary ball-handlers and passers. Stephenson probably a bit better (ball-handler) due to superior quickness. I'd say the difference defensively is larger than offensively - why I would rate Stephenson ahead of Hayward.

Was ANYONE paying attention this past season when Utah made Hayward more of a focal point on offense and he responded with very Jeff Green-ish production, though with less variation from game-to-game?  Does anyone think Hayward is going to be CHEAPER than Green?

Terrible idea.  Make sure both of them go elsewhere.  Don't spend crazy money for those clowns.

Talk about selfish - Rondo pounding the ball looking to pass to Melo who would take all the shots for the team.  Neither one playing defense.

Oh boy their stats would look great.

However, the Celtics would have a terrible losing record.

They are "anti-Spurs".

Everyone wants truth on his side, not everyone wants to be on the side of truth.

Celtics trade up to #4 to magic for #6 and next years clippers pick to get embiid. Then trade #17, next years first round pick, 2016 nets first round pick, brandon bass, jeff green and possibly the pick we get from philadelphia next year and/or kelly olynik or jared sullinger for kevin love, then make a run for lebron or carmelo in free agency. Like that we have rondo, embiid, love and lebron or carmelo.

Welcome to CB.

In due respect, I think having him in Boston wouldn't hurt.

Do I see it happening? Thin but reasonable chance.
