Listening now, said he was on the phone last night...these were his opinions:

1) GS has best offer, but the talks could be dead (Deal: Thompson, Lee & a pick for Love & Martin)

2) Boston's offer is not that good...6th and maybe 17th, Olynyk/Sullinger & Green...He said there's a ton of other possible deals that Boston has/could put together

3) Cleveland never put the #1 pick on the table

4) Phoenix' offer was not good at all (Len & the Morris twins)

5) Chicago is focused on Melo

6) Denver is another possibility...

His thoughts on Boston specifically (not overly earth shattering)...He likes Olynyk & Sullinger, but sees them as backups...Green's contract is detrimental to his value b/c he's inconsistent...Basically said that the Warriors deal was the best b/c he's pretty high on Thompson and at least Lee is a starting caliber PF...

Tried to get most of it, while working...might have missed a detail or two, but this is the basic gist of his thoughts and what his sources had to say.

Russillo had an interesting tweet this morning about trading MCW & Young to the Lakers for #7 and Nash.  Then Philly takes Exum at #3.  He didn't mention who they would take at #7.

I would actually like that trade on Philly's end as crazy as it sounds.

Interesting!

Sounds to me like if Golden State does include Thompson, then Love is a Warrior.

IF that falls through, then Boston is the odds on favorite.

Young's name has been bandied about in other trade scenarios (e.g., #3 + Young for #1 so PHI could get Wiggins) and there have been hints about MCW not being perceived as a cornerstone by PHI despite his ROY award.  Exum gets linked to them quite a bit.

Speaking of Golden State and Kevin Love, could Golden State also offer future 1st round picks to Minny in a Love trade?

I know Golden State doesn't have a 1st round pick this year, but could they deal say their 2015 1st rounder and then another future 1st rounder, if need be?

I only ask because this could also be another big factor in whether Minny and GS come to terms on a Love trade.

Did Rusillo say why he thought the Love to GS deal was dead?  who was backing out of it?

Hoping Danny pulls the 6 pick off trade table, and creates a different offer. Use 6 to get Embiid.  Rondo, Embiid and Love in 2 years = Very Young nucleus of an NBA championship caliber team.  That would so rock.

Imo the wolves want a future 1st and the gsw want the wolves 13th.

What could end up happening is the gsw gives up barnes and while the wolves gives up the 13th

If Wolves actually get swindled out of a pick in a Love trade Flip should be fired immediately.

The gsw take a big hit if love decides to leave. I can see why they at least want a 1st in addition

I'm sure they'd also like to keep Klay, but you don't trade the best player in the deal and give up a lottery pick to do it.

So Minnesota would be out Love & a first rounder?

Ummm....yeah.  Like Faf mentioned, Flip should be fired right away if that happens.

Thought I'd bump my question.

They can trade their 2015 first rounder as soon as the draft ends.  They can trade additional first rounders as long as they're 2019 or later.

Exactly.
