Getting love would be good, but it would also be interesting to draft at 6 and 17 to see if we could hit on a guy or two.  If the draft picks become good players, we can always package them later in a trade if we want.

Anyone else feel this way?

I'd prefer to keep the picks and see who we can get.  If we come out of the draft with Smart and Warren or James Young or someone else who slips and is available at 17, that's a pretty good haul.

I'd be disappointed if we don't land Love (I already can't wait for the 'I remember finding out about you..' Youtube vids) .

But ultimately if it doesn't shake out that way, I'm convinced Danny did everything he could and ultimately decided the price too high, or that it just couldn't be done. Trust In Ainge and Carry On.

If we do NOT get Love---I'd be happy with Gordon and a Trade Up for Stauskas or McDermott...Then we get Gortat or Asik and go from there.

Not exactly Fireworks though...and we might have to trade Rondo.

On 2nd thought.....GET LOVE--!!

Tears.
Such a killer commercial.  So well done.  That entire season was a dream.

Also, I'm still slightly depressed that Garnett isn't a Celtic right now.  I want him back in here in some capacity.

Great commercial, I remember too.

If we're up to 4 1sts including the 2016+2018 BKN picks, Sully and cap space, I'm past ready to move on. Let Flip fight for a 7-8 seed. I want banners.

Faried, Afflalo, and Chandler? I feel for the T-Wolves fans.

I think DA will improve our team somehow.  Whether it be Love, some other guy/guys or the draft pick.  We have nowhere to go but up unless he thinks we need to tank again which is a minute possibility, I think.

Agree.

If he gets no star to go with Rondo.....

The draft will be more interesting for Celtics fan than it's been in a LONG LONG time.

Our team could be turned upside down in fifteen minutes that night.

I  be satify either way also but just  don't want to give up the farm for Love..4 picks, Sully, Bass be too much..i don't mind the Clippers pick cause it be late but those Nets picks could be huge
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Happy enough ... content I guess would be a better word. The team would still be in a strong position going forward and able to make the necessary moves it needs to make to become a contender further down the line. So no reason for despair or anything if the team misses out on K-Love because they'll have a chance to get a star somewhere down the line given all the trade assets and cap flexibility Ainge has pieced together.

That said, I really don't want to watch a 30 win team again next season. I'd love it if a big move could be made this summer to make the team easier on the eye. Some of the games last season were really ugly.

So making a big trade now is definitely preferable to standing pat for me. I'd be delighted with a big trade. Merely content with standing still and letting young guys develop.

I definitely agree with that last part. I just hope if the deal does get done that we didn't give up too much.

I haven't put all my hopes and dreams into the Love deal though. if it doesn't happen "anything" is still" possible".

completely agree.  if nothing happens in terms of trading for Love, I don't think it will be due to lack of effort or an insufficient offering.

if we only make minor moves this offseason, I can live with it.  I still expect the real push to contention to come next offseason.  If nothing by then, I'd be shocked and disappointed.
