Yeah, if that's the lot we're picking from, there's little doubt that Smart should be the pick, even though neither is much of a prize, really. Smart can bomb just as spectacularly as Gordon.

So could wiggins embiid and Parker. They all have way more hype to live up too. Expectations are everything when it comes to being a bust.

And that's why I'd rather trade the pick, even if we had first overall. Then again, with respect to bust likelihood there are shades of gray, and players without a position, athletes without skills, and big men with limited exposure to the game are invariably my top candidates.

We haven't been able to watch a full video of him just shooting but so far from every workout video available, he hasn't missed a shot.  From the day 1 workout where all the gms were invited to the Celtics workout video. The threes he took were long ones also

If he was making these same shots in practice last year playing in college then yeah i wouldn't be too confident he can make them in real game situation. But i doubt that was the case and he was missing in both practice and game situations.

Well, he did shoot 35% from 3 last year in games. And he was 4-6 in March Madness.

All he needs to be able to do is hit the open 3, and he's shown plenty of signs he'll be able to do that, especially with the countless hours we know he'll put in.

And he doesn't even need to be able to hit the open 3, in the highly unlikely event he never puts that shot together.
