I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Gotta admit, the Nerlens Noel/Anthony Davis part where he talked about them being our last Basketball Warriors made me a bit sad. Nerlens  :(

Nothing is more sad than having Obama as our president for the rest of his life.

Save it for the politics threads.

Why, is there going to be a thread suggesting Obama should be president for life in the near future?

I don't think you'll find enough people that agree (for multiple reasons) to make it worth a thread but go ahead and try, there's definitely plenty of people who think Obama can do no wrong.

There's an entire section of the forums for this type of conversation, if you want to have it.  It's not the around the NBA forums.

And there is an entire section in every thread below the original post where people can have comments or conversations relating to something they read in the article or the OP (ideally without a non-moderator rudely ordering them to be quiet).

I don't think "I'm literally complaining just to complain" is as strong of a defense for going off-topic as you might expect.

OP I like the article - is the gist that the guy just kept drafting terrible players into his NBA2k league and simulating it over time?  I'm looking forward to the Cody Zeller era now.
