I remember back to the OKC series when everybody was announcing that it was over for the over-the-hill Spurs.  I love how in the playoffs every game decides the series.

Relax, folks.  The Spurs are still very much in this.

On another note, I have never, ever been a fan of the concept of goonery in basketball, but something has to be done about Mario Chalmers. 

I wouldn't mind seeing Jeff Ayres in there in the next game to put a little extra on a hard pick against 'Rio.

Yup every time Miami comes back up from 0-1, they end up winning the series.

Chris Bosh is clutch.

Not sure I'd call him clutch. Shots like that 3 he hit tonight are important, but he's usually shooting those from a wide-open spot after the greatest player in the game has drawn the entire defense to the other side of the floor. If he could hit that shot with the clock winding down and a hand in his face, then I'd call him clutch.

Story of the night for Manu -- too little too late

Taking into account only the last couple minutes of game time, Ginobili really hurt the Spurs tonight. He missed a difficult-but-makeable three, then forced a pass to Duncan that resulted in a turnover, then missed an elbow jumper?that's a possible seven points.

Everyone's going to blame Manu but am I the only one who thinks the missed four consecutive freethrows by Parker and Duncan did them in?

The freethrows were #1.  Not calling a timeout to be sure and get a good shot toward the end of the game is probably #2.  That turnover where he tried to rifle it into Duncan was just awful, though.

I for one am rooting for the Heat. I can't stand that arrogant Popovich and I get sick of this constant crap about the Spurs playing the right way. I think that really means giving credit to players with no personality on the court. Some people are not comfortable seeing players be demonstrative on the floor. They like the Tim Duncan types better.

I wish OKC had beaten those guys. I could get behind OKC winning the title.

I know lol. I wonder how people felt when Miami destroyed them in G2 last year. And it's not just Chalmers,  Wade gets in as many cheap shots as he can too.

Wade is a thug, and here is why i say this. First there was the Rondo assault, and then there was the Kobe Bryant broken nose at the all-star game. The Miami had a date with LA right after that All-Star game and what did Wade do. He ears a muscle shirt to the game flexing his muscles like he was ready for a fight. All class guy, NOT!!

yeah, total momentum shift if they hit them. this game I felt that the pace and flow of the game was in favor of the heat even though the spurs were leading by a few points. Im also confused why TD got little touch down the stretch.

yup, with how neck and neck both teams are even with LeBrons heroics would have helped hold them off

someone just finally needs to lay Bron out when he drives the lane.  just get a stiff that plays with the sole purpose of knocking on his butt every time he drives.

Shaq, as a Celtic, filling the lane and laying Lebron down was a sight to behold.

Not many people simply big enough for the job.

We also had Perkins too.

Imagine if Shaq was 3-4 years younger when he came to us..

That Shaq played for the Heat,,,I'd imagine he'd want to stay there if Lebron was there

I like Ginobili, but he is becoming far too erratic to trust in the Finals.
