I do not like this change for Germany. Schurrle on for injured Kramer.

Surely Ozil will drop back into tip of midfield role with Kroos and Schweinstieger as holding mids. But that leaves Muller and Schurrle as wide players with Klose up front. I don't think that forward trio is creative enough against an opponent like Argentina who are going to sit deep and defend in numbers. Need more of a creator than a finisher. Schurrle is a finisher.

I think this is a situation for Gotze. Germany need some magic.

German s midfield gets even weaker.  Ozil can move the ball forward better but defensively is pretty bad. Bastian and Kross must work more to cover for ozil

Going a little off topic.

Im new to football and just started following religiously for about 4 years. I want to ask the people who may know,  its normal for small clubs to buy players from big clubs?

Like, say a Danish club buying a player from, say Borussia Dortmund (purely out if the air, not implying anything). Does that happen?

Oh no, Khedira's injured, and newcomer Kramer will play instead alongside Schweinsteiger and Kroos.

Is Kramer any good? I had never seen him play before this tournament.

That is a bummer about Khedira. He was excellent in semi final against Brazil. Germany have looked much more secure defensively again since Khedira came into the team alongside Scheweighsteiger and Kroos in central midfield.

Kramer played 2nd division just one year ago, and wouldn't be on the team if it wasn't for all the injuries in defensive midfield, but he's a solid player. Smart tactics by Argentina to rough him up, and it worked, as he had to be taken off.

Germany has more from the game, but Argentina has the better chances. Argentina's defence is looking really good, so far.

Only if the bigger club doesn't want him, anymore. 

Okay. So something like a small club offered fair money to a big club for a player transfer. I player they like but sold hin anyway. That doesnt happen?
