Gosh, the replays on that goal. Such bad defending by Colombia (Sanchez). Switched off completely. Hate to give away such a cheap early goal in a QF of the World Cup. Awful.

Looking like the killer blow at the minute.

27 fouls ... not even at 50 minute mark yet.

30 fouls ... 51 minute mark

35 fouls ... 55 minute marker - a foul minute since halftime.

I'd love to see Jo come on for Fred. Lot of openings up front. A striker with better movement (Jo) would have gotten Brazil a 2nd goal by now.

The colombian players are showing bad body language, while Brazil plays with confidence 1-0 up.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Colombia switched to 4-2-2-2 at halftime. Adrian Ramos on for Ibarbo. Two up front now. James Rodriguez out to left wing and cutting inside.

The fouling is ridiculous. 39 fouls without a card given. A foul every 90 seconds.

Brazil have been really quiet going forward over last 10 minutes.

Colomba still not creating goal scoring opportunities for themselves on other end though.

Yellow card for Silva, will miss the semi final against Germany. Can't say I'm too sad about that.

Stupid stupid foul by Thiago Silva. Out of semi-final now. Suspended. Is it Germany next? Bloody heck. Brazil playing Germany without their best CB. Why? So he could foul the keeper on his kickout to slow down the game? Stupid, stupid foul.

Beautiful goal, poor goalkeeping though.

Sad to know Brazil won't have Silva for the potential Germany match.  Hopefully Brazil will be up to the challenge.

Brazil 2-0

Looks like Germany will have to handle the home team on their own. Too bad Columbia could not take care of business. Germany will have to take care of the home team.

Go Germany!!!

Do not understand how Jackson Martinez is behind all those other forwards in the depth chart.

Quintero could've been useful tonight with his trickery and creativity. Surprised he hasn't been called off the bench.
