One thing's for sure, next season will be interesting. There is so much hype about next season, after that tough rebuilding year it's very easy to get excited about the future. All those talks about getting Kevin Love bring up questions. Like if we can get Love and get a center like Asik or Sanders how far can we go? We will probably make the playoffs and maybe get through the first round but the C's won't be able to contend for a title just yet. Another star will have to be brought in in order to be a contending team. I'm not sure who that star can be (maybe Melo?). I'd like to ask who else can be brought in your opinion and what you expect from the Celtics in the future.

Before we do all this, can we wait until players are officially traded or signed?  ;D

I can't render my expectations as of the moment as everything is in the air as we speak. After draft night and the dust settles, then we can see what direction the team takes;

my only expectation at this point is that by the end of the 2015 offseason, we'll be well on our way to being a top team in the East.

not expecting (requiring) anything big this offseason but if there's a plan to continue to stock up on assets this offseason to cash in next offseason, I'm ok with that.  would rather wait a year for a better deal than overpay for someone this year

Depends on what happens.  If we get no major pieces then the tank will be on again.   I doubt this happens.  Danny will make something happen and AB needs to be resolved.   If we get a piece like Love I expect playoffs.

That's what alot of people want---- draft Gordon, play the young guys and hope and pray they become good. So basically be irrelevant for the next 5 years, you know the Milwaukee Buck model.  Gladly, this ownership wants no part of that i think, I hope, I really really hope.

82-0 in the regular season, 16-0 in the postseason.

Same as every year.

It all depends on what will happen this offseason. If we get a star like Melo or Love we'll make the playoffs but only if he stay healthy. If not we'll rebuild slowly like the spurs did. With a little bit of luck & no injuries we'll be a lite version of the pacers (with more talent tho)  & make the playoffs.

I think we end up making our picks, adding Asik and trading Wallace/Green for expiring contracts to make cap space for next summer.

I think Asik's defensive presence, Rondo at 100%, improvements in KO and Sully and the contributions of the rookies push us to around 40-45 wins good for a 6-8 seed in the playoffs. Then the year after we add a quality free agent or two and compete for the East title.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

You forgot the undefeated pre-season. Plus the lobsters will win the Dleague championship as well.  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
