I'm not religious,  but I still pray to good this isn't true.  Gordon is going to be by far the worst player in the top 8.  Expect an athletic Bruce Bowen - he'll have no hope in hell of ever being a star,  but instead will battle for a starting spot as a tweener and defensive role player.

Unless Da has a trade planned for him,  this better not be true! Would be the dumbest move Ainge has ever made.

Bruce Bowen had a mean corner three ;-)

good.  dude will be an all star.
Yes. Or he'll be Michael Beasley.

weak.   this dude has nothing in common with michael beasley.   be honest,  how much have you watched him?    i watched every minute he played last season.    this guy has unreal competitiveness and wants to be special.    people want to knock him for his shooting,  fine, but it's his shot is not broken.   his mechanics are fine.  he'll start knocking down shots with more pratice.   he's got a special feel around the basket that can't be taught.   finger rolls and layups and tip ins.   he's showed to many flashes to even be close to his ceiling.

+1. Unreal competititor.  Passionate player. A winner

I have been under the impression he would have to play PF because his lack of shooting at the SF position makes him nothing more than a young, Gerald Wallace like bench role playing SF. Those type of players aren't selected 6th in the draft.

Yeah, Gerald Wallace was just a bench player. No way would you take a Gerald Wallace #6. Gerald Wallace never started a game in his life. And if you add 2 inches to Gerald Wallace, all you get is Josh Smith, another bench player with no outside shot.

I don't need to say this again but I will... these reports make me sad, every time we talk up who the Celts/DA likes we never bring them in or pick them. This sounds like all the reports ppl made about Atetkoun(forget it lol)! I realllllly want Gordon. I have looked at and read up on a lot of players, he is one I hope we choose IF we keep the pick.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

It would be hard for me to watch this team if we add Gordon, not to mention how much it would ruin my draft night. Danny will be unemployed soon if he did, but I'm very optimistic Danny knows better.

LOL when did you get the power to fire DA? Danny can pick the worst player in the draft and still retain his job and you will still be on CB talking about how he should be fired. I hope that was sarcasm, if it was, disregard my comment.

so it's Aaaron Godon, Sully and 2 future 1st's for Love, cool ;)

I'm okay with that.

Thats way to much for a player that makes us a pled away from contending.

I saw that the wolves really liked Vonleh and randle. Makes sense as a love replacement. I wonder if they wouldn't prefer olynyk to sully if randle is who they'd want at six.

I saw on bleacher report a trade that said KO, Jeff Green, the sixth pick, and a 2016 unprotected first.  Sign me up

Well I'm sure he can make some mistakes, but people have been fired for far less. I have never been a fire Danny guy and think he has done a very good job. My greater point is that drafting Gordon with the 6th pick would be a HUGE mistake.

I've seen the high lights everyone has posted and I also have read up on him, FYI some mock drafts have him going at the end of the lottery which makes sense.

Take away all those break away/easy dunks because those aint happening in the NBA, than take the ones he may have a chance at and cross those out because teams will just foul a guy that can't hit a free throw to save his life or his mothers, and what do you have?

Bottom line you don't take a kid at #6 that is 6'7" and can't shoot! He shot 42% from the line??? Are you kidding me? Shaq shot better than that. Did I mention we have $20 million locked up in SFs already? Don't tell me he's going to play PF, no chance in hell of that at 220 lbs and his height, also incase you forgot we have at least 3 of those right now.

Don't want Gordon at all but he measured out at 6'9" in shoes at the combine with a 7 foot wingspan and a 8'9" standing reach. That's pretty average for a PF.

Edit: I would take him at 17 and hope and pray he becomes as good as Josh Smith offensively and defensively at some point.

Thanks. I feel sometimes like I am the only one who does not want Gordon at 6. Vonleh or Randle for me baby.
