Larry Bird was asked about Rondo today at presser: "I like Rondo. Everybody likes Rondo. ... He's one of our stars in the league."

I dream about Paul George. Did so before Larry even knew what he had there. Totally reached for him at the 10 spot on draft night and ruined my plans. He was my guy for Boston at 18.

Anyway, I'm sure Rondo doesn't daydream about Larry Bird and Roy Hibbert.

Rondo sucks.  If I can diitch him for the Kings' 8th pick, a draft bust like McLemore, and some expiring crap (and the Kings have a lot of crap) to balance the $$$, I would be thrilled (and C-Blog forums would erupt with joy). That's the market rate I've been assured.

3 rooks, no stars, and we'd be right back in the lottery next year contending for a high pick and set for the summer of 2015 with Rondo's cap freed up! What star player wouldn't want to walk into that situation?

I can only hope this is sarcasm.

If we didn't have Rondo, Love wouldn't have even visited.

Am confused with this post. Part of me believes that this is sarcasm, part of me thinks otherwise.

Good. Bird is KLove's hero, and nothing better than to have him waxing praise re: Rondo.

Yep.

And if Love doesn't stay awhile, Rondo likely doesn't either.

Lance Stephenson, however, has turned into a nightmare for Larry Legend.

I think this is clearly sarcasm. The last sentence, 'What star player wouldn't want to walk into that situation?" kind of makes it obvious.

Larry Bird could care less what happens in Boston
if he did he would be here coaching us and have ballas begging to play here
