I could dream that will happen but it will never happen. Miami is set to rule the East for at least another 2-3 years. The just returned to the finals for the 4th consecutive time.

Again, One came dream to get Lebron in any uniform :)

I don't see LeBron coming to Boston.  On the other hand, Love and LeBron's skills do complement each other very nicely so I don't think it's totally impossible that LeBron would see the Celtics as a good fit.  And everyone who doesn't want LeBron in Boston, ARE YOU CRAZY?!?! Why would you, under any circumstances, not want the best player in basketball on your basketball team? The past is the past, that's not a good reason to not pursue a guy who guarantees you serious title contention almost regardless of supporting cast.

Count me as one (of the many, apparently) who would never like to see LeBroid on our team.

Saying that  you can't not want the best player on the planet to be on your team, to me that smacks of a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mentality, a la Ray Allen.

Chamberlain, Dr. J,  Jabbar , Magic, Isaiah, Laimbeer, Dirty Wade all have been rivals for us. All great players, but none that I would like to see in Green, no matter how much I admired their game.

no not lebron

But

Durant is a free agent in 2016 . If he and Westbrook can't get it together, maybe he wants to play with a Pass 1st PG and if the c's have the cap room/assets , I could see a scenario where he would want to come here .

Give me Durant or Marc Gasol with Rondo and Love and we are obviously a contender . Just need to clear cap space .

If somebody offered me a free Hummer that was brand new, I know I sure wouldn't want it.

I'd want to keep that old beaten up 1975 Station Wagon that Clark Griswold drove in National Lampoon's Vacation with the plastic airbags that activate whenever you turn the ignition.

either of them would go a long way to getting a title

ZERO interest in LeBron. I don't want to win with him, I want to beat him.

I'll take anyone ultimately if they can be a difference maker in winning championships.

Just an aside:
It be way easier for me to root for Lebron then Kobe if they were on the celtics.

Count me in the "no thanks to Lebron camp."

I'd rather see Danny put together a team that has a shot of beating the Lebron James Heat.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

My sentiment exactly

Some of these responses are hilarious - I see posters who positively fawn over K. Love, but who will not even consider accepting LeBron as a Celtic???  LBJ is welcome on my Celtics, anytime.

Now D. Wade (dirtiest player in the NBA, in my book) is another matter...!!

I understand not wanting Lebron. I, for one, wouldn't feel as much pride and satisfaction if we were to win WITH Lebron.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6
