I want to show this video to you.
Sorry I do not know how to post a video so that it just shows up. But please look at this link. They give a far better description of the analytics that show just how good Larry Sanders is defending the interior. I do believe this video was made in reference to his season when he led the league in blocks.

Also here are some other useful resources good/bad that should get you caught up with him:

At the end of the day it is just my personal opinion that he would fit perfectly with Kevin Love on the Celtics.

Also here is a great video of Sanders when he played the Celtics...he dunks on kg

I just hope this helps get some of you kind of familiar with him and maybe not what you have heard. The whole marijuana thing i think is blown up. Its kind of a known fact that many nab players smoke tree.

Sanders would be perfect next to Love and Rondo if it was the 2012-2013 Sanders... After last season I'd be worried about what he would bring to the table.

That video with it's little green and red colored court circles somehow sold me on Sanders haha.

I'm for it, Lets get a defensive anchor.

Would a Net's pick and filler get Sanders?

I admit I've never paid attention to Sanders...he plays for Mil. and that's all I knew about him. he did look impressive in that video. but what's his story? was he injured this yr.? I don't remember seeing him play against us this yr.

anyone willing to offer up his situation i'd appreciate it. how available is he? or is this wishful thinking? is he a bad seed?

Seems to be a bad seed.  He is super talented but he missed time last year for breaking his thumb in a bar fight and has been suspended for marijuana.  He also fractured his orbit during a game and missed the end of the season.  It was a horrible year for him.

If Embiid's slips to them sure. If not doubt he's available.

ugh...if we could get him for nothing i'd consider taking a chance but other than that I wouldn't really want him here. I can't stand players that take their career for granted.

Milwaukee's management/ownership was pretty angry and John Henson played well in his absence, so he might be available.  I don't think the Celtics will have much to offer though if they trade for Love.  They can't use the PTE because he makes too much money, so they would have to send out a little over $9m in salary.  I don't see how they can get to that number without including Green or Wallace.  If the Celts traded Green, they wouldn't have a small forward and the Bucks wouldn't want Wallace.  If anyone has any good ideas of how to trade for Sanders and Love, I'd be curious to hear it.  This is why Asik is such a good option because we can get him just by offering the PTE and a pick.

my only concern - if we somehow manage a way to get him - is how many touches on offense would he demand? if he feels he's being underused/undervalued, he could get demotivated again, which could result in continued poor on-court play, continued irrational off-court behavior, and make him be a bust acquisition overall.

Don't think that would be a problem with rondo throwing him ally oops all night long

I read somewhere were the Bucks suspended him for 5 games, and he's blaming the laws for that, and is looking into legalizing it int he state/country.

I don't really want to touch a guy who doesn't take blame on himself and blames others for his mistakes.

Also he should be working and making his game better, not extra curricular activities.

In a perfect world but most of nab and nil smoke weed. We can point the finger all we want but the fact is he is a beast defensively and would make us a great team.
