Say we give up

 Sully ,2-3 1sts , Bass(expiring)Anthony (Expiring), Pressey and Johnson(filler)

That right there is enough to get us Love back

BUT

if we wanted to get more talent back we could send Bogans unguaranteed contract and take back Kevin Martin's 4 year contract . Kind of torn between just resigning Bradley instead of trading for Martin , but maybe we could do both ?

resign bradley for 3 yr/18 mil contract (6 mil per year)

resign Hump to a 2 yr/15 mil contract (7.5 mil per year)

sign PP if he would take the vet MIN

still have MLE left over to add another piece

trade TPE and pick for Asik

PG: Rondo    / vet min or MLE
SG: Martin    / Bradley
SF: Green     / PP
PF: Love       / KO
 C: Asik        / Hump

That's easily a 50-55 win team IMO , and instantly brings us to at least the Pacers level in terms of talent .

Don't want Martin at all, unless they're taking Wallace. Those two on the cap is a very serious handicap.

Boston might be able to leverage Pierce's TPE and their non-guaranteed contracts, plus Milwaukee's toxic locker room and new ownership possibly taking the team in a youth movement, to pick up OJ Mayo and Larry Sanders on the cheap. If Mayo shows up focused and in shape (not a stretch on a playoff team instead of Milwaukee) he's a good two-way guard with three-point range and when Sanders isn't being an absolute ass he's an excellent pick-and-roll defender and shot-blocker.

Yea, after thinking longer about it I came up with a better trade

Bos sends: Sully,#6, 2 future 1sts , Wallace, Bogans(non-guaranteed), Anthony (expiring)

Min sends: Love and Martin

For Minny: Wallace make 4 mil more than Martin during the duration of their contract , but his contract ends 1 season before Martin also , so they would basically be getting out of Martin's contract one year sooner. Maybe we send the 2 Philly 2nd rd picks to sweeten the deal a bit .

For Boston : Get a huge upgrade in Scoring, shooting, rebounding, efficiency. 25 yr old top 15 player .

PG: Rondo                         / MLE
SG: Bradley(3 YR 18 MIL)   / Martin
SF: Green                         / PP (vet min or part of MLE)
PF: Love                           / Bass
C: Asik or Gortat type       / KO       / Fav

* would like to add Okafor as a Backup C also.

Just some thoughts about Rondohondo's revised proposal. I am not sure we can get away with giving just 3 picks. I hope so. I would think that they would want both of our picks this year because this year's draft is so talent rich. Our 17th pick this year is probably a top ten pick in normal years and I think that the Wolves are interested in a rapid rebuild. For me, even a 4th pick is not a deal breaker. Also, nobody wants Wallace. Even though his contract is longer, Martin is actually a useful player. Wallace is not, in spite of his 110% effort on the court. I think that during the 2015-2016 season Wallace's expiring contract may be valuable in making a deal.

Not a bad idea with Mayo and Sanders.

If we get Love we HAVE TO  get Sanders. I don't understand the fascination with Asik, he is horrible and has no heart.

Asik is a better defender and rebounder than Sanders and I expect him to be highly motivated with a chip on his shoulder in an attempt to prove that Houston was foolish for bringing in Howard when they already had him.

We can get Asik with our trade exception and maybe the Clippers pick.  Sanders makes too much money for that same deal.  How do you propose getting him or another player as good?  Asik is one of the better defending and rebounding centers in the league and he's available.  I don't know why you say he has no heart.  He's not the one getting in bar fights ans repeatedly busted for drugs like Sanders.  He was p---ed that he was regulated to the bench after he established himself.  I wouldn't equate that with having no heart.

I don't see how someone could love Sanders and hate Asik.  Sanders has no brain.

Sanders is still poison pill until July 1st, I've read. His cap hit in a trade would be around 7-8 million up until then if I'm not mistaken. Roughly the same as Asik. Not that I'm in the Sanders camp much at all, but we can get him with our TPE until July, I believe.

I'm no expert on trade rules, but the 2013/2014 trade deadline has passed.  I don't think we can make that trade until 2014/2015 salaries are taken into account, but I could be wrong.
