if we don't give avery his qo, the c's would have enough cap space to offer him 10 million year per. indy has a weak hand, no way they rondo out of us, also if we establish that he wants to come here, then mabye they can work out a deal the pp trade except or our waiveable contracts plus a pick, just to keep options on avery

not sure i would want him, depends on what ainge thought his further upside is.

JMI, but I believe that Indy lost that series because George couldn't step it up.

It's sad, really...he couldn't even offer support for Stephenson during the post-game presser...

If anything, this Indy/MIA series has proven to me that Paul George is perhaps a top 15-20 talent in the league, who plays - at times - like a top 2-3 player....good enough to be an All-Star, but can't dominate for long stretches.

Series loss falls on Paul George, not Lance Stephenson blowing in LeBron James' ear.

Indiana Pacers will take a step back if they don't bring Stephenson back....for all his antics, he and perhaps DWest were the only two who seemed to try and find their ways during that series.

If Indy lets him go, I hope Danny gives him a call.

Future Lineup?

Rondo
Stephenson?
JGreen
Love
Asik?

Stephenson won't be 24 until end of this year...he is getting better. He's not finished developing his game.

I was thinking this too when he talked.
Series over bruh.
Lance was playing the bad guy...it didn't work but it coulda and we'd be talking about how clever he is.

At least say "That's my boy...I go to war with him" or some stuff...c'mon!!

I'd take Lance. Love that K.G. ish in ya head stuff

Hibbert? 4 boards 8 pts. ::)

Where are his fanboys now?

The same bright lights that turns Rondo into a walking smack talking trip dub made Hib melt.

You can't teach big....I hear that a lot.  You can't teach awesome either. 7ft 2 with 4 boards in an elimination game and we talking bout lance?

If Hibbert had Lance's passion some Heat would be in Wheelchairs or getting stitches right now.

Man fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stevenson won't be resigned

Hibbert vastly overpaid .....Portland lucked out getting Lopez who didn't disappear under pressure

George ...... I believe is a fancy clone of Jeff Green .   Can't be the man everynight.

Pacers ....need another coach

The whole team exposed last night

Heats best effort destroys Pacers

Pacers need to unload A lot of dead weight and hope George can be the player everybody thinks he is.

Pacers in long run trouble

I am pretty much jumping on the "Hibbert Sucks" bandwagon. His stats really haven't improved since his 2nd year in the league and he has to be one of the biggest no-shows in the playoffs ever.

I like what he has to offer as a positional defender, but his rebounding #s leave something to be desired and I am thinking now he is just tall. If given the choice (and I don't mean to bring this option out of left field), I take Shawn Bradley over him every single time.

Stephenson is a complete and utter moron.  The thread, with all the Stephenson support had to be a parody thread.

People act like, because Stephenson is a moron, that he somehow cares more than say, Paul George.  I suppose the good news, for those that want this knucklehead, is that he likely cost himself millions this series.  The pacers don't seem to want this loser so that opens the door.

Ugh.

sadly I actually like Lance Stephenson. if he could learn how to use his gifts as an agitator the way Rodman did he'd be a pretty formidable player. unfortunately he's starting to show he doesn't have the mental capacity to do so and he'll likely join the long list of players wasting what they have.

I understand people blaming Hibbert and George's poor play, and Stephenson's antics, but the truth is that this Pacers team was a legit threat to Miami last year, and somehow completely fell apart this year at some point during the season and never recovered. There must be something behind it that ruined the chemistry and trust the players had in each other. I know there are some rumors going around about issues with girlfriends of teammates and such, and some rumors about selfishness of Stephenson and Turner, etc. Some rumors about the team morale falling apart after Granger was dumped. Who knows which rumors are true or not. All I know is that these players and this team was excellent, and something caused it to fall apart. It's not lack of talent of lack of ability to perform in the playoffs, because they did it last year.

Bird had Granger to use as an asset to improve a team that almost went to the finals last year, and somehow he managed to screw it all up. It may not be his fault, but there is no reason for this team to perform so poorly this year.

i'd say it was a mix of everything that was rumored. I don't think George is this MVP candidate he was built up to be, he leveled off. he was never as great as the experts claimed he was and never as bad as he could've been, he was just in the middle.

as far as them falling apart goes if they were "as close as they thought they were" nothing would have sidetracked them. I've felt for a while that this team focused more on beating the heat than winning the championship. that's where they fell apart.

Say what you want about his antics, but IMO, Lance Stephenson was the only Pacer to show up in all their games against the Heat. And maybe David West as well.

I believe Stephenson's value has dropped after his antics in the playoffs. Would Bradley and pick17 get him, and if it could, would Ainge pull the trigger?

I woulda 't trade huge assets for any of The Pacers players.

They all have a lot of mental tuff ness to add to their games.......except West.....the rest need to grow up......they need a dose of coach Pop.

Pacers could done alt better under coach Pop.

I hate Lance Stephenson.

I hate the Heat.

I'm generally disappointed when dirty plays against the Heat (like Lance's) are directed at players other than Wade. At least he'd deserve it.

I'm not sure how dirty Lance really is.  The hit to the head looked more unintentional than not (though I don't know if there's bee other incidents).  Touching LeBron's face/standing over him/blowing at him, come on....  Most of Lance's stuff is unnecessary and unsportsmanlike, but I don't think he's done a lot of stuff where people could get hurt (thus dirty).

I get angry when people call KG dirty, and just from what I've seen it looks like his antics are MUCH closer to the KG category than the Wade one.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
