If we are talking about long term and Love on the Celtics.  I think Sully has the most immediate trade value and will help close the deal.

But frankly , I 'd try and unload , Green, Bass, Wallace , AB first.

Sully deserves to start and should somewhere , and he wouldn't with Love on the team .  KO is a better backup type player, and could develop into a great role player off the bench to a star like Love.

This is playing out a lot like the Big Al  deal .

If Love falls though , log jam or not , I fully expect Danny to take another big forward with three good ones to pick from.

If push comes to shove especially in a Love trade it would probably be Sully because right now he has more value, and is more similar to Love.

I think with both you might be underselling right now as they might make huge strides in their games, but that remains to be seen.   It sure would be nice to see Sully learn under Love for a couple years, and if Sully is nearly as good as Love at that point and you have to trade one so be it.

If the deal is for Love, then trade Sully since Sully is sort of Love-lite.  I think KO would complement Love better if both are on the court at the same time.

I think this might be a case where you ask Minnesota which guy they like more.
Better still, don't offer either of them. Bass, Bogans, and Johnson and works in the trade machine. Then it's a matter of picks and maybe taking a salary dump like Martin with a trade exception.

Otherwise, I'd keep KO. Like both, but he has higher ceiling (even if he has a lower floor).

Teams generally ask for a young player with upside as part of these sorts of deals.

Until recently, I always assumed Sullinger was the higher upside player. Now, it's not so clear. I think Sully has a better chance of putting up 20 & 10 one day, but Olynyk could very well be a 15/8/4 guy with high percentages.

I think this is a case where Sullinger has a better shot of being at least a solid starter for several years, but Olynyk has a better shot of being a 20ppg guy.
