Would Celts and Cavs ever swap Rondo for Kyrie?

If reports are true that Cleveland either doesn't think Kyrie will stick around and/or having doubts about extending him, would the Cavs move Kyrie for Rondo?

Rondo only has 1 year left but maybe he ends up faring better with the Cavs than Irving did and sticks around.

Could this be a possibility?

Cavs decide to move on with a new core of Rondo and Embiid or Wiggins (whoever they draft) and Celts move on with Irving as the new point guard

I can somewhat see it kind of making sense for the Cavs if they want to make the playoffs. Trade their #1 for Love, trade Kyrie for Rondo, re-sign Deng. That's a pretty good core.

I think Kyrie is a great, talented PG. I don't know if I want a player like him on the Celtics, though. He just screams Allen Iverson to me. Flashy, scoring, talented PG but not much of a winner or team player. He can definitely change because he's still young, but I wouldn't be surprised if his career goes into that path.

I was going to rake you over the coals, for suggesting the Cavs would be dumb enough to trade one guy who wants out for another guy who would want out even more.

Kyrie has no concept of team ball. Watching the Cavs burns my eyes; Kyrie gets the inbound pass, dribbles to half-court, then drives and tries a convoluted lay-up which may or may not go in;

I'd rather keep Rondo than get Kyrie.

Personally, I disagree. I know it's subjective and a matter of personal preference, but I am a big fan of Kyrie and he's actually become one of my favorite point guards to watch in the NBA.

My only concern with him (if I had to pick one) is he seems to have picked up a decent amount of injuries in his young career.

Other than that, I like him a lot as a player.

Going back to this, I think it would be a possibility and perhaps no picks would even have to be exchanged.

Something like Rondo and Sully for Kyrie and Bennett.

I am sure the Cavs would love to get out from Bennett's deal and if I am not mistaken, this would open up the Cavs for future cap space in 2015.

For the Celts, they would have Kyrie under control for at least the next 2 seasons.

He's also younger than Rondo and might be a better draw for future free agents.
