Very impressive video. Thanks!

It also begs the question of where exactly would he rank if he had played college ball this past season? I have to think he would be a lock for the top 5. Still a very young player, having recently just turned 20, and is actually younger than Embiid.

He reminds me a lot of Detlef Schrempf

No offense to the Saric fans, but I just watched that video and the level of play in that game was awful.  It was nowhere near NCAA division I talent.  Saric is skilled, but I have no idea what kind of prospect he is from watching that video.

Saric has an interesting game. He's got great offensive instincts, BBIQ, and hustle but he's not a great athlete and that worries me with a transition to the NBA. But, between the Adriatic League and Euroleague, he has been quite impressive leading his team as a 20 year old. Say what you want about the level of competition, he's still going up against a lot of full grown men in those leagues.

Also, what position does he play? He's a tweener. Plays like a SF but can't really guard SF's or PF's. Will he be as effective if he adds weight to his frame?

And thirdly, will he even come over if drafted? He's stated he'd like to stay 1-2 more years in Europe to get more experience so he's more ready to enter the NBA. Do the C's even want to take a chance like that?

Most recent news is that he would definitely come over this year if drafted by the Celts or Lakers at 6/7.

I think Danny will have several interesting options when we pick 6th. Gordon or Saric will be available for sure, and I'd be delighted if either joined our roster.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
He's a slow 6'9 wing and can't shoot, but you think he'd go top 5 if he played in the NCAA? If you want what Saric brings your better off going with Kyle Anderson at 17. The difference between the two being that Anderson has shown he's able to score against faster more athletic players. Ricky Rubio is consider by many the worst starting point in the NBA, but he was pretty dominant in a strong European league.

Basically the same player and I'm not sure I want either.
