Boston trades:  #6, #17, Sullinger, future protected 1st
Boston gets:  #1

Cleveland trades:  #1
Cleveland gets:  Kevin Love, future protected 1st (BOS)

Minnesota trades:  Kevin Love
Minnesota gets:  #6, #17, Sullinger

Boston gives up a lot here.  But I think that's what it will take to get #1 and land Embiid who I feel is a franchise changer, no matter what Danny says.  Frontcourt foundation in place (Embiid/Olynyk complement eachother nicely), still a lot of future draft picks, and tradeable players to rebuild well.

Minnesota would do the deal in a vacuum considering their situation, but not so sure they don't just insist on the #1 from Cleveland instead.

Cleveland I think needs to do this to start winning now to keep Kyrie and also possibly lure Lebron back.  Take the proven 25 year old all-star instead of the unproven potential superstar.

Why would Minnesota want the #6, #17 and Sully instead of the #1 pick?

I sure wouldn't if I were them.
