even though this one wasn't a dirty play, it's amazing how Wade keeps finding himself in just the wrong place at the wrong time.

Him and Tyler Hansborogh have the same set of "intangibles."

Wade is like the boy who cried wolf.  He's intentionally hurt people so many times that when it's an accident, we rush to judgement.  At least I do.  Suspend him for the remainder of the playoffs  :)

Maybe that's why Indiana completely fell apart at the end if the game.  George didn't know where he was.

Concussion symptoms often present up to 15 minutes to an hour after the trauma, swelling takes a bit to occur.

He passed the concussion protocol immediately afterwards, probably by lying to the doc, and then I imagine things got worse for him so that he couldn't get past the baseline tests this morning.

more likely being in the right place at the right time for Miami.  looked like he went overboard on the contact on that play.  not as blatant as the Rondo takedown but he was going for contact and trying not to be obvious.  evidently he succeeded.

The ESPN article seems to imply that he was diagnosed strictly for reporting that he'd blacked out on the play.  If that's true and he was otherwise fine on the tests, it's probably a pretty minor concussion, but the report's not worded that clearly:

Quote
But when George later stated he "blacked out" on the play, the team "conducted the NBA-mandated concussion assessment, which did not reveal any active symptoms of concussion."

George, though, had follow-up tests Wednesday morning, at which point he was diagnosed by the Pacers' consulting neurologist with a concussion due to the fact that he said he had briefly lost consciousness during the game.

I laughed out loud when Wade pretended his knee hurt after he realized he hit Paul George's head. He somehow still believes that basketball fans don't think he's a dirty player.

We know how you play Wade; you can't get away with this ish anymore.

George was already quite lost in Game 2 before the injury. His up-and-down play in this series and in this postseason lends more evidence to the argument that he's good but just not superstar material.

He is still pretty young, but he is clearly not a #1 scorer or even a real solid clutch scorer nor overly consistent (he will improve that).  The reality is David West is the only consistent player on Indiana's team and sadly for them he isn't in his prime and frankly neither is anyone else on Indiana (the others are just on the before-prime stage).
