Hypothetical: Celtics Trade for Love, Who do you get Next?

Okay, let's say Danny Ainge works his magic and get's Kevin Love for Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger, #6 and the Clippers 1st.

That leaves us with A LOT of holes. What do you do next?

1. I'd call Memphis and ask if Marc Gasol is available. Next I'd look to Denver and inquire about Timofey Mosgov. I'm not a fan of Asik as all, I'd only want if he comes for a bargain price.

2. Bring back Avery Bradley. As with all his injury trouble he isn't going to get an outrageous long term deal. Sign him to his QO if possible. Let him be UFA next year.

3. I'd offer Kelly Olynyk and a 1st for Thad Young.

3. I'd look to sign Trevor Ariza and Anthony Morrow. Ariza gives us that veteran defensive presense off the bench while he can still score a bit. While Anthony Morrow pairs with Bradley very well off the bench.

4. Look to bring back PP if possible.

Young/Mozgov/Bradley would make us a 2nd playoff exit for sure..

Asik> Mozgov at protecting the rim/rebounding.

Young isn't a good SF. If we're going for defense, then Green is a better/floor spacer.

I'll target two guys.

1.) Arron Aflalo. A player who's had a near All Star season this year. Improves every year and a very efficient scorer at the SG spot.

2.) Omer Asik. For very obvious reasons.

I don't know if we'll have anything left after (assuming) we acquire Kevin Love. But to get those two combined with Love and Rondo, you now have a Playoff contending core. Time to build the rest of the team.

Asik also costs 3 times Mozgov. There is still a salary cap.

With Love on the roster we don't need a floor spacer at SF. We look for the BPA there. Jeff Green just isn't worth what he is getting paid.

As I thought about it, the interesting thing is even with Rondo and love in tow, this team is still pretty bare and it's identity is largely pliable. Rondo and Love don't really bring a culture to build around, other than maybe high IQ. I think we'd be better off targeting high IQ defenders who can shoot.

I both like KO better as a player and think he'd match better with Asik and VF. Neither Sully nor KO is a great fit with KL.
