Oops.

Wrap up the spam sandwich we just got, Danny. Throw in a couple of viable players like Sully and Bass and let's see what good old Glen Taylor would take.

Does this mean the "keep the pick and draft Embiid" posts will finally come to an end?

Having watched Embiid all winter, I certainly hope so.

No sense whatsoever in using the 6. As far as I'm concerned, move the 17 as well.

I hope he we don't get him. I don't hate Love, I hate what we have to give up for him.

I like when all the articles come out saying we could get him and anything linking him to us b/c it never happens.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I think DA would enlighten him with his plan, plus if he was able to get another piece to go with Rondo its a nice start... Waiters comes to mind for me (with remaining assets They have after a trade)

except we got the assets so it's real or can be real it's not like the talks back then where we thought we'd get Chris Paul.

If it's true, then great.  I agree -- I'll take Kevin Love over whoever is there at #6, for sure.

But only if we feel really good that Rondo and Love are likely to stick around.

Get Love and Larry Sanders.  Dominate for the next decade.  Laugh at the haters all the way to the bank.  ;-)

I'd love to get Love.  Danny will certainly try

I have to say, it's hard to argue with Mike Gorman's reasoning on this, and he seems fairly plugged in, to me.

Quote from: Mike Gorman
?The thing I?ve always heard about Kevin Love is that he wants to go back to Los Angeles and he wants to play, after five years or however long it?s been in Minnesota, in a warm weather climate. That kind of eliminates us here in Boston.

?He also says, because he?s never made the playoffs, he wants to go to a team that?s gonna be in the playoffs right away. That would be optimistic. You?d like to see the Celtics in the playoffs next year, but when you had 25 wins or whatever it was this year I?m not thinking you?re gonna make that big of a jump of 20 wins necessary to make the playoffs.
?On that sense I don?t think it backs up that Kevin Love will come here,? said Gorman.

Even if Ainge says to him, don't take the buyout and see where we are in 2 years and if you and Rondo aren't happy I will move both of you, this should be good for him. An extra 4 or 5 million in cap space in 2 years could get us that third player here.
