The history of the Hornets will go back to Charlotte, too. Nice.

Nothing more to add, except this: Bring back the Sonics!

Thus making the Bobcats the weirdest franchise aberration in the modern NBA.

Wait, nevermind. read the article.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I'm glad we got our name and colors back. I don't know of anyone who liked the Bobcats stuff here in town. The Team will still stink as bad as the owner but it will look better now.

I'll actually go to some games now and not just Celtics ones.

The one time I went to a Bobcats game to see the Celtics play was about 3 years ago while in Char.

About 50% of the stands were Celtic fans... And the other 50% was empty.

TP for making me laugh when so many other posters on here today have left me shaking my head.

I went to a few Hornets Celtics games over the years and that was the impression I got too.

I'll miss seeing all the Bobcats memes.

Hey, at least they made the playoffs twice in their tenure!

....and got swept twice by Florida teams. Looks like they aren't fond of teams residing in Florida lol.

Yes, Lakers, Celtics and Heat games have more fans of the visitors then the home team. In the 80's and 90's it wasn't like that at all. Things went south however and have never really been the same.

The Hornets filled the Hive for 9 straight seasons (1988-97). And the Coliseum had a capacity of 24,000. To me, that's pretty impressive.
