I am not really in the K-Love boat, but I would be thrilled with this if:

1.) we kept KO especially, but also Wallace, Bass, Bayless.  We will need a bench.  We might have to give up Wallace just to make salaries work
2.) we don't give up the Nets 2018 pick.  That is going to be an incredible pick some day

We will be better than the TWolves with that roster, which is good in the East.  I suppose I'd  also be okay with Exum in place of Wiggins, or Bradley at the 2 and Parker at the 3.

The thing is though: we're not winning a championship with that team and I don't know how we would add another huge piece if we give up all our assets.  We would need Wiggins/Parker/Exum to really emerge in order to have even a remote chance.  We couldn't beat the Clippers with that team, let alone any of the teams playing right now

the move next year would be try and get pp and kg on the cheap, with our exception or vet's min, the appeal of retiring as c's, and playing with rondo+love might be enough.

Kg would have to get bought out, which is might be a problem as the nets would be wary of him signing with another team on the cheap, especially the c's

A lineup of Rondo, Afflalo, Melo, Love and Asik seems somewhat plausible.

But honestly... for the same pipe-dream reasons I think we could land Melo (him demanding a sign-and-trade to Boston so he can join Rondo and Love), you could say the same thing about LeBron James if Miami gets ousted in the ECF.

Yes, that's ridiculous... but if we are talking about tangible dream rosters, why not?

Trade some combo of Wallace + Bass + Sully + Top 8 pick + more picks for Love.    Trade Bradley and a pick for a guy like Afflalo.  Trade Pierce TPE + a pick for Asik...   and then call up free agent LeBron.  Ask him if he wants to join the party?... Miami would probably rather take Green + Expiring contracts + picks rather than let LeBron walk for nothing.
