Hey,
I am thinking about going to the draft and staying in NY for a few days as the Red Sox are also playing the Yankees around the draft too. The only thing is I live in Australia so it will be a pretty expensive trip!

Just wanted to see if anyone has been to the draft before and if it is a good experience? Also are there any oppurtunities to meet any of the players and get autographs/photos?

Also is there any time I would be able to get autographs etc at the baseball too?

Thanks alot for any feedback :)
Joey

I've been to the draft before and it is a fun experience. Its nice being able to seriously discuss basketball with educated die-hard fans. It does get boring after a while though. A lot of people end up leaving about 20 picks in or early second round. It is a very low possibility that you will meet any of the players unless you happen to run into them outside or your seats are just THAT good. I had balcony seats but I still had fun!

Just a word of advice, if you have twitter, dont check your twitter timeline during the draft. Someone always spoils the pick before commish says it! :(
