Just wanted to know if anyone has broken their wrist, and if they have any advice/exercises I can do while in a cast (if any).

I'd let it heal.  Speaking as a guy who played hurt on a broken ankle once, I would let your body heal and do what your doctor says.  I din't and now I am hobbled and 45.

There are plenty exercises once you get better.
