Pacers in 6.

They woke up against the Wiz.

James gets his, but Pacers D shuts down rest of team.

Pacers in 7. No doubt we'll see a controversial finish to a game, likely in the Heat's favor. But this is what the Pacers have been waiting all season for.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
i would like the Heat to win in a brutal, rough, violent 7 game series so the Spurs and mop the floor with them in front of the world and get revenge.

The Pacers are just too out of sync at this point. Hibbert is run down and George is a wet blanket for 4 out of every 7 games.
It will come down to a few key factors for me:

*Hibbert's ability to alter interior shots and if he has any mojo left at all this season.

*David West vs Chris Bosh

*Does Wade have more than 2 good games in him vs Stephenson?

*Can George score 20 points per game and GET TO THE FREE THROW LINE, while guarding Lebron and keeping him to 25 points per game and keep him off the line?

*Can the Pacers get ANYTHING from their terrible bench?

*Can the Pacers #1 perimeter defense cause the Heat to shoot poorly enough to make it a 7 game series?

Evan Turner and CJ Watson should be able to help in this series.
Just wish the Heat had played the Bulls and the Nets in at least 12 games before meeting Indiana.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

I think the Heat will take it in 7

The Pacers seems to have gotten it together in the Wizards series, but I am NOT sure if they can get all their act together for the Heat. But I do expect a nice violent 7 game series and this series better be exciting

Not me. I want the Pacers to beat them in as few games as possible, and then beat the Spurs.

Never liked the post-Iceman Spurs, anyway.

They stole our mojo (future) the year the Admiral was hurt and they got Duncan and OUR titles.

They don't deserve another chance. They blew it so bad last year. First, Leonard misses the free throw which would've sealed the game. Then Mr. Brilliant (overrated Pop) allows Judas to not be covered and become the hero. One of the most sickening sequences that I have ever experienced in sports.

PUKE.

That was rather ugly. And enraging.

Good game by the Pacers today, but I don't want to get my hopes too high.

hoping for a Pacers win but expecting the Heat to pull it out very quickly.  I would be surprised if Indy wins another game in the series.  would love to be wrong and have Indy beat them badly

Pacers won one game, defending home court. That doesn't mean much quite yet because if the Heat take game 2, then the Heat are the in the driver's seat. If Indy makes it 2-0, then they have some breathing space.

despite the huge free throw disparity, i thought it was the three point shooting did the Heat in, in game1. The game could've been a lot closer had some of the Heat's open looks gone in (and had some of Lance Stephenson's questionable shots not dropped). The next game should be very interesting. i believe that will be when all the "violent" and "rough" talk will come in.

this is just a bad matchup for the heat. but the one thing that i'd really be worried about if I was the heat is the fact that they were consistently getting beat off the dribble in the 2nd half. I didn't see the whole game just mid 3rd - the end.

if the heat are that worried about hibbert and west that they're giving up the perimeter as well, then they're in trouble.

with that said I definitely think this goes 7 to the heat, and the spurs will be waiting for them after defeating the thunder in 5.

Very surprised to see the Pacers get it together and play so well in game one. I was surely thinking Miami might sweep and if not they would win in 5.

I honestly don't think it's so much that the pacers have "gotten it together" as it's just a matter of it being a bad match up for Miami.

Think its a mix of both.

Hibbert/West are DEFINITELY playing more confident, and Hibbert even had a couple of nice inside passes.

Hill is also stepping it up on the offensive end, and being aggressive. And the ball movement is fantastic.

With the defense being pretty good, forcing the Heat to take jumpers. This is a culimination of everything the Pacers should've been.
