Is it possible to somehow entice Aldridge to come to Boston?  With that being said, with our lottery pick draft Gordon, and with our 17th pick draft Austin.  Sign Pierce to a 2 year contract and come back next year with:

Rondo PG
Green SG
Gordon SF
Aldridge PF
Austin C

Bench

Pressey
Bradley
Pierce
Sully
Hump
KO

Trade

Wallace
Bass
1st round pick 2015 for a Center

Putting Aldridge aside, because that's a pipe dream, what's got you imagining Isaiah Austin starting at center? Ahead of Olynyk and Sullinger no less?

I dont see any possible situation where we are able to net Aldridge. Especially after their successful playoff run this year. It seems to me that he enjoys Portland, has a nice young squad that's only going to get better each year, and with the new contract for Stotts I think Aldridge would love to keep growing with those guys in the Northwest.

it was the situation earlier but things had changed after they got slaughtered by the Spurs
now Aldridge think Portland won't be good enough to contend, especially in the West
(not to mention if The Thunder Called out the Spurs)
and plus he wouldn't be worrying about his knee in boston

I don't see him thinking this at all, I see him thinking the exact opposite actually. It's the first time Portland has made it past the second round since 99-2000. They finally have something good going for them. Damian Lillard will only be 24 next year, Batum will turn 26,  Matthews 28 and Lopez 26... If anything this years team proves to Aldridge that they can compete and contend. Next year the Spurs will be another year older, heck maybe Duncan even calls it quits (even though I doubt it). The Thunder might shake things up if they get ousted. The Blazers have a great starting line up and to get to the second round is huge for them in the experience department. If they add a couple veteran pieces especially to the front line they are only going to build on what they had this year.

I can't see Aldridge giving up what they've got going in Portland to come to Boston and be part of a mediocre rebuilding team for the rest of his prime and then in three years have them still probably not be contenders.

Austin is legally blind in one eye.  His FG% and 3-point % both dropped from last year.  His points and rebounds also dropped.  He did improve his FT% and his blocks and his assists and steals (barely).

Yup.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Forget legally blind.  The kid is missing his eye altogether.  Interesting story though; hope he makes it.
