How pathetic is Miami?

I hate that LeBron has lead to some frustrating losses for the Celtics.
I hated "The Decision" and I hate the persona of the Miami Heat.
But I don't hate LeBron's game - he's a great player.

I just don't think that during his title runs the last three years that he has had to get through any legit prime time player or team to get them. Therefore I "do not" put him in Bird, Jordan or Magic's level at this point.

If the argument is that Lebron has Bosh and Wade and those three are today's Miami Heat's equivalent to Boston's original big three of Bird, McHale and Parish, who exactly then, has been the Heat's Jabbar, Magic and Worthy? What team has been the Heat's Pistons Bad Boys rival that Jordan had to get through?
   

You forgot the '6er team that the Cs had to go through too. Dr J, Moses Malone, Cheeks, Toney, Bobby Jones.

The cHeat have had it pretty easy, but so did His Airness.

That Bad Boys team you mention were at the end of what they were when they played the Bulls.  They were a lot tougher when we played them as opposed to when the Bulls played them. The Bulls beat an end of the road Laker team, end of the road Pistons team and nobody else. MJ fourth to Russell, Bird , Magic.

LeBron irritates the hell out of me. He whines more than any player in the game even though he gets his way 95% of the time. BUT the dude works his butt off and just loves to play the game, can't really hate on that. He more than deserves his two rings.

D-Wade, on the other hand, is the grimiest piece of trash in the league. I've seen him maliciously try to injure other players one two many times to have even an ounce of respect for that insect looking creep. I hope karma hits him hard.

Chris Bosh is harmless and I like Erik Spoelstra, but if I have to see Miami three peat I'm quite sure i'll vomit.

I haven't seen anyone say anything about him not being a great player (maybe there are a few here and there but I don't really recall). No one denies he is, so I really don't see the problem. Riley, Wade, James and Bosh colluded to come together, circumventing league rules on tampering and collusion.

That's why they are often referred to as the cHeat. Truly something to be proud of.

Sorry the NBA won't strike it off the record just because some Heat Fan wants it to. Not the Celtics fault everyone else sucked, you play the competition in front of you and you try to win. Some of the years you are referring to, teams only played 72 games. Also, there was much more parity in those days. For example, in 1957, no one won more than 44 games and no one lost more than 41 games.

Also, more often than not, the 2nd best team was in the same conference as the Celtics so the finals were anti-climatic.

Today, teams play 1/3 of their schedule against teams that can't get to 30 wins so going 50-32 vs a schedule like that is not impressive.
