You could put out any roster but the calls have been horrible for the NETS. It is hard to beat eight men when you are playing five. I was hoping the calls would improve without Stern but looks like the integrity of the game is still dubious at best. Those they market get star calls and travels galore, those they don't get the shaft.
Miami had 14 fouls. Brooklyn had 15 fouls. Miami had 4 more foul shot attempts, but made 6 more. Brooklyn actually had 7 more FGA, of course they made 2 less shots. Each team had 24 3PT attempts, but again Miami shot better hitting 2 more. Brooklyn had more rebounds and assists, but turned the ball over a lot and shot much worse. To blame that game on poor reffing just isn't based in reality. Brooklyn is quite simply just not as good as Miami. Period. I mean Brooklyn lost by 12 points in a game in which James, Wade, and Bosh were held to just 54 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists combined (and shot less than 50% from the floor including a horrible 1 of 8 from three and with just 16 combined foul shots).
