Would you give up two future first rounders to encourage the Bucks to trade Sanders for Gerald??

Maybe. It depends on which firsts we're talking about, and how quickly we'd be able to get some better wing scoring to go with Rondo + Sanders.

I was thinking a Brooklyn first and the Clips first.  But, if that will not entice them, I would do ours top 10 protected for one of them.

No.  Sanders play last season doesn't inspire me to the point I would want to give up two first rounders.

it wouldnt be for just one year.  Why would a team dump an expiring contract on us and give us a pick??  That expiring could be a trade asset for them midway through next season.

it'd have to be on a contract with multiple years left on it, and my answer for that would be a big no.  we have enough picks, lets see what we get with them before we handcuff ourselves financially.

Chicago would LOVE to dump Boozer for the price of a single 1st round pick.

Boozer has one year left on his contract right? If that's so, I wouldn't mind trading the 2nd 1st. His production would be worth the draft pick alone. And if it doesnt work, well, he's a big salary relief by next year or by trade deadline.

One first rounder is for them taking GWall's awful contract back and the other is for Sanders.

One 1st rounder for Sanders without dropping a bad contract is not worth it the way Sander's played last year.  Unless he completely turns it around, he is a bad contract.

The difference between Boozer and Bass isn't worth giving up a first.  (And, to be honest, I think I'd prefer Bass to Boozer.)

There are so many people overeager to mortgage our future for one or two winning seasons in the short term.  Think about any game of strategy, whether it is poker, Risk or even playing the stock market.  Do you think giving up incredibly valuable long term assets to take a chance on an expensive lottery ticket like Sanders is ever worth the gamble?  Granted, a poker game is over in a few hours and doesn't consist of you watching 82 terrible basketball games, but if you think this is bad, imagine watching our team with Sanders making $10 million and having no assets to improve ourselves with.  It will be like the 90s all over again.  Just be patient.

Agree to disagree, I guess.  I think that at $11million a year, Larry Sanders would be worth the risk.

I'd rather have a cost-controlled rim protector at market price than Gerald Wallace. And I like Gerald Wallace.

I think it's the giving up of a couple of future first rounders that he objects to.
