TP for creativity but I'd be surprised to see a team being able to make this many move involving minor assets that only benefit themselves.

Trade #1 cannot take place because Sessions and Bayless are on expiring deals. Once the trade deadline passes, those players cannot be traded.

Quote
In addition, teams cannot trade players under the following circumstances:

. . . .

When the trade deadline has passed. Teams are free to make trades again once their season has ended, but cannot trade players whose contracts are ending or could end due to an option or ETO.

Trade #3 is thus nullified.

Trade #4 is also invalid.

That first unit would make the playoffs and not contend, IMO.  No real star but a bunch of second fiddles who could not dominate but would win enough to make us perpetually mediocre and drafting in the teens.

Yup, that roster headed for perpetual mediocrity. Frankly, I like the current roster better!  Can someone please tell me what the fascination is for players like Hayward and Asik. Can anyone say with a straight face that they are that much better than Green and Bass?

Yes.  Yes I can.

That being said, I agree that they aren't worth giving up much of value for when we aren't close to contending.

You're trading unrestricted FA's and restricted ones for us and the other teams.

Plus we don't have anything on our roster IMO (maybe Rondo but probably not) that the Jazz would trade Hayward for straight up let alone just for Faverani.  Keep in mind that Hayward is a RFA and the Jazz can and will match any offer made to him.

Why do people keep thinking Jazz will trade Hayward? They have $33 million in expiring contracts, so they certainly can match any contract another team might offer.

Because he might not want to play there....
