i think he was one step ahead of the headsman. LA wasnt going to keep him for next season anyway.so, what next for the evil empire west? what poor shlep will they invite to run the ship now?
I won't be surprised if Mike Woodson is the next candidate in.So in the past three head-coaching positions for the Lakers...they'd have three different Mikes.
He had it rough with all the injuries to Kobe, Nash, and Gasol, but he hasn't had success since his Phoenix days, when a prime, healthy Nash ran the offense. Seems like he may be a one-trick coach.
