what if this girl is part of a master plan to get the Clippers out of the hands of DTS.

I wont even start to tell you who the co-conspirators could be.

Why were they having this convo and why was it being taped. One party taping is illegal in California.

Frankly, I hope Doc is granted all of Sterling's assets and is able to give Sterling a severance package of 40 acres and a mule.

It's a pretty silly conspiracy. Given that the legality of any sort of real punitive action against Sterling is pretty sketchy, regardless of how awful a human being he is, and given that anyone who has been paying attention to Sterling for the past 20 years knows he is both a racist and a monstrous toad of a human being.

I mean, this is a big controversy, sure, probably the biggest he has been a part of from a pure PR standpoint. But it isn't the stickiest legal situation he has ever been in, and neither is there a clear way to get rid of him at this point.

I guess the theory would then have to involve gifting Paul to the Clippers to raise the price of the team, so they could essentially hire a woman to sleep with him and then brought Magic Johnson in to pose with her so they could goad DTS behind closed doors into saying racist things, then sell the team at an inflated price.  That seems like a pretty far fetched conclusion to reach, honestly.

Maybe this is a little far-fetched just for the sole purpose of forcing him to sell the team, but it seems pretty obvious that he was 'played'. The woman is currently being sued by the Sterling family for $1.8 million for embezzlement - I am sure she isn't psyched about life right now. The fact that the conversation was recorded kind of solidifies that she had revenge on her mind. My guess is she is trying to totally embarrass and discredit Sterling, not necessarily force him to sell.

This will just be forgotten after a month or two. Sterling has been in much tougher situations than this before. People tend to forget after a while.
