Here are ur revised fireworks.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lysl5ly

Memphis gets Asik and Jeff Green plus celtics 2nd pick this year

Rockets get Melo and pressey

Knicks get hump bogans bostons lotto pick and next years pick

BOS gets Marc Gasol, Parsons and Lin

Memphis realizes they are gonna lose Marc in a couple of years, panics and gets Bostons 17th pick plus green and asik. Have a decent team still which is all Memphis really wants....I love the Grizzlies (2nd fav. team) but they are never gonna win it all

Knicks get a lottery pick and next years pick....they blow it all up. Trade everybody and let phil start from scratch. He is firing everybody!

Rockets get to shed Lin's and Asik's salary. And get melo.

Boston gets AWESOME!

PG: rondo/bayless
SG: bradley/lin/ CJ
SF: parsons/wallace
PF: Sully/KO
C: Marc GASOL/ Fav

still leaves bass and Joel anthony......idc what we do with them...maybe trade em for a 2nd pick or package em with bayless for a quality backup SG

rondo/bradley back court....not a fan of but if we have parsons and Gasol help defending.....might be okay. PLUS Marc Gasol is my pick for best center in the game. can score, defend and a great passer. that starting lineup has huge bball IQ except for bradley.

********* this is a dream fireworks trade.....prly not super realistic  :P

I seriously doubt the Rockets would give up Parsons in order to shed Lin and Asik's salary.

How is this different?  They're still giving up Parsons in order to help dump Lin + Asik, making it possible to acquire Melo.

I think Houston will find a way to trade away Lin and Asik and then sign Melo without giving up Parsons.

Here is the catch with parsons....hes gonna have to get paid soon...either this summer or risk losing him to free agenc the following year....so rockets couldnt get melo and keep parsons......boston could sweeten it with another future pick possibly...

I know this is meant to be silly but the Grizzlies could win the championship this year. Not hyperbole.

Watching the Houston-Portland series, finally getting a good look at Parsons.  I think we are over-hyping the guy.  Cool 2nd round pick, but I just don't like his shot.  Really ugly and flat. Seems off balance.

Thought I might be reading something absurd but this seems reasonably fair to all teams. My question would be: Are we athletic enough at the 4 and 5 with adequate rim protection?

I think its a little out there but yea its kinda realistic...i wish it would happen

As far as being athletic at 4 &5 spots......eh...maybe lacking but marc gasol is a very smart player passer and always one of the top defenders

Um - in that trade, they are giving him up to get Carmelo Anthony.

Darn right they would.

The only real question in the trade is whether Memphis would actually pull the trigger on moving Gasol.

EDIT:  Okay, I see from follow-up that an earlier version didn't have that.
