The Bucks were trying to move Sanders earlier this season but had no takers.

Is it just a suggestion by a sports columnist rather than an actual attempt?

Because I think I've seen the article in question and it seems more like the columnist speculating than actual intent.

I've seen some say a Henson/Sanders frontcourt is something the Bucks may be shooting for.

But, as always, if Sanders comes cheap, this fan is very interested.

Therein lies the question. How much would sanders cost and what is he really worth?

We had a shot at Asik last year. We should have pulled the trigger on that one.

I'm still unconvinced we won't get another shot at him if we want him.

I am hoping so.  I think he has been doing a great job on Aldridge.  He is a very smart defender.  He doesn't look flashy doing so like some but he can be very effective.

But he may cost a bit more than what he was last year.

I really thought (IIRC Bass, Lee and a pick) was a bit of an overpay, but something we should have just went through. Asik is one of them Centers who can protect the rim and control the boards. I understand you want to switch fair value, but there are not a lot of Omer Asik's in the league, we could have got him if we just willing to pay %1.35 for a $1 deal.

I don't see how he's more valuable now. His cap number is $8M, his actual salary is $15M and he's a free agent after a year.
