Man it seemed like KG could get that mid range jumper any time he wanted, but now that he's on the Nets it's apparent that it was all Rondo.  Williams is one of the best playmakers in the league and he's not even in the same league as Rondo.

In my opinion that was scheme as much as PG play.  Doc's system had a ton of screens and movement, and usually somebody wound up with an open look (and to Rondo's credit, he's excellent at finding the open man).  I rarely see this Brooklyn team run anything more complicated than a pick and roll or pick and pop from the top of the key.  Aside from that, it's just a lot of iso stuff from the guards and wings.
I understand we ran lots of action plays, but plenty of the time it was just a completely basic high screen with Paul and Ray spacing.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Johnson is attempting to take this game over.  I've been sitting here hoping he'll get hot for 10 minutes now.

Then the onus might be on KG's relative levels of washed-upness?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Nets have had so many chances to take over this game in the past few minutes but insist on chucking up jumpers and making bad TO's as Deron passes to Bron SMH

He's washed-up so players are leaving him less open?

It had to do with Rondo coming off the screen full speed, beating his man, and drawing the second man.  Williams and Paul play the pick and roll with much more hesitation, more like Nash, waiting and seeing what develops (difference is the defender has a choice to go under or over, where as Rondo's man goes under 100% of the time).  When they do try to blow by the screen it's for them to score.

Excellent timing for a run.

The truth blew past Ray Allen on that play. It was beautiful.

It won't be a coincident that there'd be a third straight OT in Game 4s between Pierce/KG and Miami.

D Will has missed several layups tonight; has to be frustrating.  He's played pretty well other than that.

Wow KG looks so gassed out there. He just fell off a cliff within a span of a season.
